DIY Skull Tank Top

So...this is more of an inspiration post than a tutorial. It's just one of those ideas which is really simple and makes you wander why you haven't thought of it before, except even more simple.

The 'tutorial' bit.
  • Using a plain light coloured top, lay it over a book so only one side of the tee is on top of it(the book is inside).
  • Using a fabric pen, draw any design.
  • Done
Yeah, well that's it really. If you are looking for any more mini DIY projects to do in your spare time, look on Pinterest (click the button in the <- side bar to follow me). Louise, from sprinkleofglitter also has a great board 'project glitter'on there which is full of things you wished you had thought of.

FOTD: Autumn Eyes

http://littlemissmetamorph.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/mua-eyeshadow-trios-and-palette-review.html
MUA Glitterball Palette
I love this eye shadow look for the autumn-time. You can wear it with all different eyeliner styles to intensify the look or make for a more natural one. It's also very easy and would suit all eye colours especially brown and hazel.
I used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
Glitterball MUA Palette:
Top-Left Green on Lid
Top-Right White on Inner Corner
Black Placed over Eyeliner to smoke
http://www.makeupsavvy.co.uk/2010/09/no7-free-eye-palette-reminder.html
No7 Limited Edition Eye Palette
No7 Palette:
Plum in crease
Brown on 'outer v' and blended in crease
Off-white as a highlight
MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack used as liner.

Now, of course you don't have to use all these products, that's just what I used personally due to these products being drugstore and not too pigmented.

What is your favourite drugstore eye-palette?

Hype Review: Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

So this is a new series that I will will be posting about. I will try and test hyped up products on YouTube and the blogosphere and give my honest review. I thought that this would be useful to you because quite often I research hype products and all the review say how amazing they are, but hardly any say things that are not so great. Such as the Revlon lip Butters!! I mean, I like them!! Sure, but not enough for what I did visiting boots once a week for 3 months waiting for its release in the UK in my area!!

The first in this series will be the Bourjois 'Magic' Nail Polish Remover.
On The Bottle:

  • Instant Removal
  • 1 second per nail
  • Nourishing sweet almond oil
  • Red fruit and vanilla fragrance
  • Acetone Free
  • Paraben Free
'All you need to do is dip each finger into the sponge, twist and remove without the need for cotton wool'
I seriously love this product. Seriously. It's only £4.99 at boots or superdrug, it smells pretty good(for a nail polish remover, I wouldn't recommend breathing it all in...) and it works!!
Also, no cotton wool need!! I love this bit in particular. The thing I hate most about nail polish is taking it off. I feel like everyone has at least one thing that sends a shiver down their spine, for me, it's when a little bit of cotton wool is on your nail and of course, this happens when you take off your nail polish!! Ugh, thinking about already makes me shiver.
So, you pop your finger in the pot, wiggle it about a bit - without turning it too far over like I did and have the liquid spill out all over you - and your nail polish will be completely off!! Magic!!
It's also great for travelling because of there's no need for cotton pads and it's 75ml so under the limit for hand luggage. Yay!

The bad points...
I don't want there to be any!! But, however, there are always improvements in anything.
Firstly, there's the toenail situation. It is physically not possible to fit your toe in the pot wiggle it and take it out safely without seriously spillage.
Secondly, I would press you not to remove glitter polish with this pot. You will ruin the sponge inside and get fingers covered in glitter. Just please don't do it.

Now that they are over, yes, I love this product. I absolutely agree with the hype around this inventive unique product. I will definitely be repurchasing when this finishes.

Sorry about the picture quality, I had to use my iPhone instead as I couldn't get the pictures off my camera!!
