Firstly, yes I may have been caught up in a bit of online shopping distractions. Secondly, yes these distractions were caused by searching for some school shoes. Lastly, yes I do actually need some new shoes {my creepers are falling apart. Not surprising I guess since I have worn them 98% of the time since I bought them..}

I only just realised as I looked at the pictures above but they actually incorporate many of my current favourite trends: tartan, velvet, holographic and platforms. The clear docs popped up on my tumblr dashboard and I scoured all over the interwebs for these simple see-through boots. However unluckily the completely clear ones with no colour stop at a size before mine(let's leave it there xD)...

OH, and the knee high boots, well. That was an old 'thing' of mine. I would constantly wear boots- even in summer, I still have my treasured brown heeled pair however both of my black leather(one with a low wedge- my favourite and a slouchy pull on pair) died. After looking for many months for a new pair I gave up. But I think the trends are now in my favour and I have been able to find some pairs which appeal.

The Beauty of: Stockbridge

A couple of weeks ago was 'Work Experience.' Many schools have got rid of this concept however, luckily for me, mine is still running. The basic idea is that you contact businesses in a field of work that you are interested in. This doesn't work for everyone, but I was very fortunate.
I tagged along with a photography team and saw parts about how small businesses work.

One of the days I got to go out with one of the team and take some shots of a village, and these are the final results.

J.P. Morgan 'Round the Island Boat Race 2013

 The 'Round the Island boat race is one that takes place once a year, "a one-day yacht race around the Isle of Wight, an island situated off the south coast of England. The race regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world and the fourth largest participation sporting event in the UK after the London Marathon and the Great North and South Runs."

The only reason why I know the slightest thing about the race is because my mum's boyfriend happens to compete in it. And every so often, you know, they are quite successful.
Their boat is the GBR707 Madelaine.
Sadly this year their position was 14th, but in 2012 they came 3rd, 2011- 4th, 2010 - 2nd and won in 2007!

So if you saw a certain boat continually popping up in these photos, it's them! For the whole day we raced around the island stopping off at different points to grab some shots of them, so apologetic to others in the race I didn't catch many of the others...

Maybe if you do go have a look out for them.

The ice king is after me, so you can't tell anyone about this letter or where I am going otherwise I will get killed.

Winnie the Pooh is stuck in a tree at Never-Neverland but Peter Pan is with Jack Sparrow looking for the Crystal Skull as Indiana Jones got shot by Captain Hook. So your duty is to rescue Winnie the Pooh before Tinkerbell steals the jewels from Snow White's step mother.

Beware of the magic mirror though, if you stare too long you could get sucked in, and nobody knows where to, I would say 'Ask Gollum,' but you know, nobody knows where he's been taken to, or if he's even alive!
The Doctor has lost his tardis, meet him outside the Dentist ( 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney) and help him find his tardis so you can go to Never-Neverland to help Winnie the Pooh.

Alice is stuck in Wonderland (again), also, so if you see any white rabbits in waistcoats with pocket watches, keep an eye out.

General Lust: 9th Willow

OMYABSOLUTEFUCKINGGOD.

When I discovered this site my eyes lit up like a fucking lantern.

Their stuff is incredible. I actually found it when I was having an online shopping moment- well day if I'm honest with myself- and I had a look through the stockists of Everland Clothing to see if there were any in England to reduce shipping costs and all that polava... 

{On a side note, I don't think I've ever actually written 'polava' in a sentence, I mean I've said it but it's a weird word, isn't it?}

Anyway, yeah. So after looking through all their stuff and seeing the main thing that I came for- the Everland Tie Dye Empty Garden Dress, I saw the word HOLOGRAPHIC.

... Followed by the word 'Kimono.' Yes, i know what you are thinking. Scrap that and look at this baby. Check it out here, on the 9th Willow website for £65

It looks incredible, with flowy sleeves, semi transparency and maxi-length. Can't wait xD

I feel kind of privileged to have found such a piece. Just got to save up for a bit now and maybe then I will be able to share photos of it in reality and all it's glory. Keep an eye on my Instagram (and follow, if you feel so inclined ;) and I'll keep you guys updated on what's happening.

As well as that, they have an awesome dress, originally created by Everland Clothing with a pastel swirly tie dye consisting of pink, green, yellow and turquoise. Caribbean holiday shaped trippy print, I'd call it. It also has a structured chest area and off the shoulder sleeves. I personally would go out of my way to work this into a grunge look as the overly girliness is a difficult factor.... But just imagine it with chunky platform shoes, a whole chunk of hippy/punk bracelets. Phwoar.

Sorry i've been such a shiite blogger. It's really bad, and I'm sorry. But i'm not going to go and explain all my excuses because I know how boring it is :L

 but simply say I've been too busy. I'm still working on the gifs and I have photos ready on my camera to upload but I don't know when i'll be able to grab some time to create the posts. Thank you to those who have stayed connected even with the lack of posts. Hair.

Oh my love affair with pastel hair. It looks so perfect. I can't wait to get out of my current school and be able to dye my heir again, instead of boring brown colours. For a while now I've been thinking of bright Ariel red or LEHAPPY style red. Which is lovely, but if I got the guts to get some bleach out then I would definitely go for lavender. It's so gorgeous. I don't know how I'll feel by the time I can dye it.... I also, wanted to go blonde, however that's kind of passed me now {although seeing Evelinicutza or Evelina Barry's transformation with the colour is warming me up to the idea again}. Ugh, I just don't know what I'd do with the broken brittle hair from the bleach. I dipped dyed it back in 2010 when Drew Barrymore first did hers, and it completely ruined my hair. It's still pretty much like that. But I'm not prepared to cut it off just for the colour. Oh I don't know. I'll work it out by then.

If you could dye your hair any colour what would it be?

Any tips on how to stop bleach from ruining it or bringing hair quickly back from the dead?

Wonderland is Dripping

A little bit obsessed with these pictures. Even with all the negativity, Tumblr seems to still manage to make me happy. I think it's the pure uniqueness. It's like looking out of your window onto Camden: Seeing all kinds of different individual people being themselves and experimenting and pushing the boundaries of who we can be. So that I can see them even more often than I am on tumblr I've started adding them to my wall. Although they are kinda peeling off... Have to find a better way to keep them up there 'cause I can't put them up with blu tac etc because it's wood chip wallpaper... *sickalittlebit*

So, in my room I have a strip of A3 papers with B&W stuck on them across my wall. I'm planning on filling up the whole wall, just been busy lately with school and exams being so soon.

Oh well. I'll get there in the end. Also, I just got a MacBook Air! *_* 

So it should be easier to do the wall as it will actually connect to the printer!!

As i've always been a windows user, it's kind of tricky getting used to all the shortcuts and, to be honest, fairly shitty Microsoft office word. But it's lovely being able to turn on the computer in like under a minute, not to hold the laptop up in the air {because it's overheating and burning my legs off} and the keyboard is so lovely to type on!! :O

Happiness from a Train.

Is it only me, that sun + being on a train is magical. Especially if you are alone, and have headphones and as I have right now a light dusting of leftover of snow?

You pass ground looking down on you and then as you raise back up the sun shelters behind the trees playing hide and seek with the branches.

Then the wide panorama landscapes in the beautiful English countryside.

Even after being delayed for 58mins by some problem on the track, it's really refreshing.

I find these lovely little moments in life really important to keep us sane.

So beautiful.

It's so silly how stupidly happy this is making me. ^_^

It feels like being back in Cali when the light is so subtly blazing it bounces off the cars, making the roads appear like rivers.
